Hoobies, by definition, do not need to be productive, or need to accomplish anything. They are meant as a joyful way to spend your free time and/or unwind from the daily stress of life in general.
Having said that, i love video games , but I also recognize their ability to become very addictive very quickly. ANY hobby that becomes addictive (addictive being defined as disrupting or negatively affecting your real life) can be classified as “bad” or “unproductive”. Obsessive stamp collecting could become as much of a problem as excessive video gaming. Hobbies are important to people, just make surr you put your real life responsibilities firs
