The term culture comes from Latin word cultura which means "to cultivate". So, culture is all about innovating and creating new things- which include and is not limited to language, literature, dialect, art and philosophy. In anthropology, culture includes all the methods of exchanging information that are not biological or genetic including all behavioral and symbolic practices. So, technically even if you do not believe in the popular religion or mythology, you still follow the same behavioral practices which include language and dialect.
