Education is NOT equal to intelligence. Some of the most unintelligent people are extremely well educated. Education is having learned the skills to learn and teach yourself and others about the world around you. The distinction between intelligence and education is a very subjective one, but in my opinion, intelligence is the ability to think critically, reason and analyze data and make informed judgements based upon available data. Education can develop intelligence, by fostering the growth of these skills, but intelligence is not dependent upon having participated in an educational system. Education is a process that develops skills, not one that indicates a level of intelligence. Education does develop important skills that can help all people achieve, but the important distinction is that intelligence is NOT dependent upon the level of education
