I look in the mirror quite often through the day. Several times in the morning while I’m doing my makeup, and every time I’m in the bathroom afterwards. A few times a day just for fun, and every time I pass a particularly reflective surface.
I’m a vain creature, don’t blame me.
It’s not all about vanity, though. I just like to know how I look to other people—how my body moves, how my hair moves, if my clothing is hanging nicely. I enjoy analyzing details about how people come across to others, first impressions and things that capture attention. It’s fascinating to me, and fun to see if I can emphasize one thing over another.
