Why aren’t the students taught a “financial management” course in school ? ? Is it intentional?

I have a (conspiracy) theory on this. Because the goal of school is to create workers. And if workers were intelligent at budgeting and investing their earnings, they could retire early (or, well. Retire at all). Yes, this is a conspiracy theory. But let’s face it. The economy needs massive consumers; this creates debt, this drives a necessity to work, and round and round the hamster wheel goes. There is a very calculated and deliberate balance to society, don’t think it is an accident that schools neglect to teach us about the most critical aspects of succeeding as adults. Whether it comes to social skills, personal finance, business development and networking. It is economic slavery. And the best part: inflation will make all your hard work meaningless so your kids get to continue the cycle.
